My Thumb Is Not a Nail

Build day in Minot involved building a shed from the ground up. We arrived and began the frame work. There was lots of nailing to be done, and we got the ground and a wall up before lunch.

After lunch all but 10 of us left to go to landscaping at another site. I had a little bit of the after lunch tiredness, so I forced myself to climb up on the roof and work there beause I would have to stay awake. We had these nails, and I don't really know what was wrong with them, but it was impossible to nail them in straight. Everyone was having problems, so I don't think it was me. Well in the process of putting one of the roof boards on, I nailed my thumb pretty hard instead of the nail I was holding. It has a nice blueish color to it and a huge blister just to the right of the nail. Since I don't like body parts that don't look normal, I wont put a picture up - but its wrapped up good now.

We worked late - until about 5, with Jamie and I putting on the final touch of a lock for the doors. We stopped by the bike store, where the water cooler exploded on Nolan (very funny) and then went for showers. We returned just in time for dinner, and then it was town hall meeting time.

High - final 15 miles into Devil's Lake were we pushed

Low - hammering my thumb

After that, I didn't feel well and went to bed before 9.
